First, the seats were taken out of the bus. The seats were redesigned as art pieces that were auctioned as a fundraiser.
In early summer 2007, Scott Valley residents Lynn Brown and Alan La Briere shared their carpentry skills and creative talent by designing and installing new counters and drawers.
A BIG Thank You goes to volunteer Scott Tift from the Mankind Project (with over 30 local, active members). Scott helped install lighting and more. A Thank you also goes to Steve Hickey fromMount Shasta Electric, for his help in getting donations from his suppliers for some of the circuitry and fixtures.
